Mission Engineering Study Lead

KBR is seeking a Mission Engineering Study Lead to join their National Security Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operations research with a focus on mission engineering, systems engineering, or operational analysis. The role will involve leading and managing a team in the execution of studies following the mission engineering process, working with the mission characterization, architecture, and constructive analysis teams, and developing study scope, Key Questions, partnering organizations, external teaming opportunities, and execution plans.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in operations research with a focus on mission engineering, systems engineering, or operational analysis
• 5 years of experience conducting operational or mission analysis and trade-off studies to inform decision-making for capability development, system design, technology investments, or maturation of concepts of operations (CONOPS) or concepts of employment (CONEMPs)
• 5 years of experience in a leadership or deputy role managing cross-functional teams in analyzing complex engineering and operational problems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment; present and explain technical information to colleagues, management, or sponsors
