Job Description
KBR's National Security Solutions team is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the Procurement Department. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from suppliers in accordance with company policies and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Requirements
- Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services and supplies
- Takes responsibility for purchases in support of customer-related business processes or for internal use
- Reviews and approves supplier invoices with KBR's Accounts Payable Department
- Provides input to Supplier Performance Evaluations
- May provide guidance to less experienced team members
