Job Description
The role of Senior Quantity Surveyor involves managing commercial and cost-related aspects of infrastructure and construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects deliver value for money and comply with contractual requirements. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and customers, as well as providing commercial advice and mentoring junior surveyors.
Requirements
- MRICS qualification or equivalent experience and qualifications
- 7 years' experience in a similar role
- NEC3 & NEC4 contract management experience
- Experience in mentoring and coaching Assistant Quantity Surveyors and QSs
- Negotiating and influencing skills
- Ability to work in collaboration and cooperation with the supply chain
