Job Description
Senior Piping Stress Engineer responsible for technical specialist work in pipe stress analysis and engineering. Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority. Contributes to value creation and may lead a team of engineers on multiple projects.
Requirements
- Pipe Stress Analysis
- Identification of pipes requiring review and/or analysis
- Formal stress analysis in accordance with ASME B31.1 and B31.3
- Informal review in accordance with ASME B31.1 and B31.3
- Development of specifications and requests for quotes
- Evaluation of vendor quotes
- Selection of standard and engineered pipe supports
- Conducting piping reviews of project isometrics and supports
- Work hour estimates for pipe flexibility and support items
