Senior Systems Engineer

KBR's National Security Solutions team is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support end-to-end kill chain analysis for Space Control programs in El Segundo, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining requirements, interfaces, test and verification plans and system integration plans based upon space defense kill chains to enable capability gap analysis and evaluation of future system performance.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI is required to be considered for this position
• BS in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience
• Mission Engineering experience is a plus
• 10+ years of relevant technical experience in aerospace
• 5+ years in space system requirements analysis and allocation
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering methods and tools
• Independent problem solving with a variety of mission architecture systems engineering abilities, including knowledge and experience in requirements development, analysis, verification, and test.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and program stakeholders and have robust written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidate must have excellent oral/written communication skills and customer relationship skills
• Candidate must be an independent problem solver, comfortable in a fast paced environment and be able to quickly adapt to emerging requirements and changing priorities
• Master’s degree in engineering
• Experience with classified programs
• Mission Engineering experience is a plus
• Space system design, development, production, integration & test, and/or certification experience
