Job Description
KBR is seeking a talented Software Developer to join their new Modelling and Simulation project, dedicated to setting up and integrating software systems for integrated simulation, test and evaluation (T&E) environments, including digital twins. The successful candidate will play a key role in standing up, integrating and operating software systems and will have a strong software engineering background with experience in delivering in complex production environments.
Requirements
- Solid software engineering fundamentals with a track record of delivering in complex, production environments
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g. Go, TypeScript, Java, Python, C#, Rust, or similar)
- Strong grasp of software design principles, testing, and code quality practices
- Experience integrating, configuring, and operating complex multi-component software systems
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security-in-the-pipeline practices
- Proficient with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices
