Job Description
Our client is a well-established manufacturing business seeking a proactive and ambitious Management Accountant to lead a small finance team and play a key role in linking finance with production and operations.
Requirements
- Prepare and manage monthly management accounts
- Journal preparation, prepayments and accruals
- Complete bank reconciliations across GBP, EUR and USD accounts
- Support the Finance Director with annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Present monthly finance packs to Directors and Board members
- Provide support, training and oversight to the Finance Assistant
- Prepare year-end audit documentation and liaise with external auditors
- Assist with costing, pricing and margin reviews
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Support development and implementation of an effective MRP system
- Carry out additional financial tasks as required
