Job Description
KDM Engineering is seeking an experienced Distribution Designer to independently develop construction-ready documents for electric and gas distribution systems and telecommunications infrastructure. The company is a growing, minority- and woman-owned firm recognized for innovation, excellence, and a people-first culture. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in utility distribution design (electric and/or gas)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and GIS systems
- Experience with Work Management Systems (Asset Suite 8, WMIS, Passport)
- Familiarity with easement/permitting processes and right-of-way acquisition
- Strong communication skills
