Heavy Equipment Apprenticeship 2026

KE&G Construction, Inc. is seeking highly motivated individuals to join their Heavy Equipment Operator Apprenticeship Program in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The 3-year program includes 6,000 hours of on-the-job training and 432 hours of related instructional training.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment and possess a form of state identification and social security card
• Applicants must be United States citizens or have proper Immigration and Naturalization Service papers for working in the US
• Must be able to perform basic reading, math, writing and computer related duties, as well as an aptitude for in-class learning with some self-study at home
• Must understand safety regulations and follow both written and oral instructions
• A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency, or other high school equivalency credentials
