Adjunct Faculty, Lifestyle Medicine and Research Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program

Keck Graduate Institute is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for its Occupational Therapy Doctorate program. The successful candidate will teach, serve as course coordinator, and participate in research. The position requires a doctoral degree, registration and certification as an occupational therapist, and licensure in California. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of clinical practice experience and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree from a United States Department of Education recognized and accredited program
• Registered and certified as an occupational therapist by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Licensed occupational therapist in the state of California
• At least two years of clinical practice experience as an occupational therapist
• Strong attention to detail in course planning, implementation, and assessment
• Proficient in computer, online, and learning management system skills
• Strong work ethic and team-based approach to working in a dynamic environment
• Superior writing skills grounded in professional knowledge
• Positive, welcoming personality for working with colleagues, students, community and clinical partners, and others
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
