Child Watch

Supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Build members and the community’s understanding of the YMCA’s cause and impact. Creates a safe, enjoyable, culturally aware, and positive environment that promotes wellness and engagement by providing quality experience to children and parents that focus on the YMCA values.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• CPR, First Aid, and Mandatory Safety Training certifications within 45 days of hire
• Child Abuse Prevention training and the Y applicable training within 7 days of hire
• A desire to work with children in a developmental setting
• Ability to implement age-appropriate and developmental-appropriate program activities as directed
• 2+ years of experience in a Childcare setting (preferred)
• 2+ years’ experience in implementing age-appropriate activities (preferred)
