Heavy Equipment Operator

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile aggregate mining and processing equipment. They must be able to monitor all equipment under their control and perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections. The operator must also be able to comprehend and complete all needed paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

• Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location
• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
• Ability and knowledge to operate and monitor equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed
• Ability to comprehend and complete all needed paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
