Job Description
Kemper is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer focused on Java/Guidewire Claimcenter. The role will design and code scalable solutions, influence architecture, and provide guidance through technical excellence. The team works on Guidewire ClaimCenter and its surrounding middleware (Java/SpringBoot, AWS SQS/SNS, AWS Lambdas, AWS PostgreSQL, etc).
Requirements
- Design robust, high-performance solutions across systems and services
- Serve as a key technical contributor on critical projects or initiatives within the property & casualty insurance claim domain
- Evaluate and advocate for improvements in system architecture, technical standards, and development processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering and product to align technical implementation with business needs
- Create proof of concepts to demonstrate capabilities
- Enforce standard coding and security best practices
