Kendal at Hanover has a full-time opportunity for a Homemaker Assistant to provide physical, psychosocial, and social support to older adults in our community, promoting quality care and positive leisure time.
Requirements
- Quality of care by meeting resident needs as outlined on daily assignments
- Communicates and works professionally with the interdisciplinary team
- Actively engages residents by initiating conversation and activities with them
- Reports concerns or physical, psychological, and social changes to the Homemaker supervisor or nurse supervisor and assisting in problem solving
- Maintains a clean working environment by keeping residents' living areas neat and orderly
- Contributes to team effort by voluntarily helping others to accomplish department and community goals in caring positive manner
- Possesses a valid driver's license and the ability to safely transport residents to personal and medical appointments
