Job Description
Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP) is seeking a self-motivated Full-Time Early Childhood Supervisor to lead teaching teams at Mill Stream and Canaan Preschools in Northeast ME. This role involves implementing a comprehensive program for children aged 3-5, promoting professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement in the classrooms. The position requires strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Care & Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5 years paid experience in Early Care and Education (birth-age 5)
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to travel out of state
- Ability to meet agency & State of Maine requirements for background checks, fingerprinting, and physical exams
