Machine Operator

Role Overview

Join a six-time US Best Managed Company as a Machine Operator at our Logansport, IN plant. Perform routine tasks related to feed production, including quality control, ingredient and feed processing, and equipment maintenance.

What You Will Do

Daily operation of equipment, operating the bagger, sewing machine, forklift, and feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently. Record and document feed manufactured during shift, mix and prepare livestock feeds, and assist with production scheduling and inventory planning.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1 plus years of manufacturing experience
• Farming background a plus
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good communication, verbal, written and math skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
