Job Description
Kernal Bio is seeking a Senior Computational Biologist to join their R&D team and drive drug discovery efforts. The role involves applying advanced computational methods to complex biological challenges, designing mRNA therapeutics, and collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams. This position focuses on leveraging AI to revolutionize mRNA therapeutics within the body.
Requirements
- Deep Expertise: A strong background in analyzing high-throughput biological data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, single-cell sequencing).
- Modern Skill Set: Experience with machine learning and AI, including gradient descent, Bayesian optimization, and LLMs.
- Accelerated Computing: Hands-on experience with NVIDIA GPU-accelerated computing.
- Programming Prowess: Exceptional fluency in Python and experience with workflow management systems.
- Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Intellectual Curiosity: A creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is eager to learn and tackle complex problems.
