Under the supervision of the Supplemental Instruction (SI) Coordinator, SI Leaders develop and facilitate learning activities to support targeted Keuka College courses. They attend classes, prepare materials, and guide discussions to enhance student understanding.
Requirements
- Attend all weekly class sessions
- Prepare materials and conduct SI sessions
- Maintain weekly contact with SI Coordinator and course instructor
- Responsible for submitting attendance sheets and plans for weekly sessions and timesheets
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must have earned an A in the course or a course within the content area
- Experience tutoring or assisting students
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Understand and behave with high integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to work under pressure with diverse groups
