Job Description
Ki is seeking a Reinsurance Pricing Actuary to work on pricing for the Treaty book at Ki and other future reinsurance lines. The role involves delivering deal level case pricing, building best-in-class pricing models, and working collaboratively with the Algorithmic Underwriting team. The ideal candidate will have a Qualified Actuary certification, subject matter expert knowledge in reinsurance pricing, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements
- Qualified Actuary (FIA, FFA or equivalent)
- Subject matter expert knowledge in reinsurance pricing, ideally in Treaty
- Relevant, numerate degree with a good overall grade
- Self-starter, creative thinker and problem solver
- Project management with moderate guidance and direction
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Sound commercial general insurance Lloyd’s/company market experience
- Excellent IT skills, in particular an advanced/intermediate level of MS Excel, SQL and Python
- Data science skills and a proven track record of applying them effectively in an insurance setting
