Senior/Staff Engineer, Backend

Kick is an applied AI company building accounting software. We're looking for a Senior/Staff Backend Engineer to support our rapid product growth, with a salary of $130,000-$190,000 USD and competitive equity.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience designing, building and operating production backend systems
• Deep backend engineering skills including API design, data modeling and reasoning about distributed systems tradeoffs
• Hands on experience running AWS/GCP with a strong understanding of how infrastructure impacts application reliability and performance
