ABA Supervisor

This role involves assisting a BCBA with clients in various settings, applying behavior intervention programs, and ensuring appropriate care. The position requires assisting in home, community, and school settings, conducting data collection, preparing instructional materials, and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment. It involves both client-focused and administrative responsibilities, with emphasis on maintaining confidentiality and adhering to hygiene and covid-19 protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education, such as a GED
• Must hold a BCAT certification or obtain certification within 60 days of hire
• Knowledge of basic concepts of child growth and development and developmental behavior characteristics particularly pertaining to pupils with special learning needs
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies and techniques relating to pupils experiencing atypical control problems
• Fluency in English (read, write and speak)
• Demonstrated understanding, patient, and receptive attitude toward students of varied age groups, particularly those exhibiting specialized needs
