Senior Electrical Designer

Kiewit Mexico is a company dedicated to providing engineering, procurement, and construction management services. As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for developing schematics and on-line drawings from engineering sketches or mark-ups, and model electrical components using vendor submittals and electrical designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• At least 15 years of experience designing electrical systems and knowledge of electrical industry standards and regulations
• Mid to advanced English level required: Good reading, writing, listening and speaking (fluent conversation) knowledge
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Knowledge and application of current version of the NOM-001-SEDE
• Experience with Navisworks, Microstation, SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant lnstrumentation visual,Lightning, Dialux, Sizer Cable Calculation
• Familiarity with specification requirements and electrical installation details of construction material lists and equipment
• Able to design duct bank, embedded conduit, cable tray, grounding, lightning and lighting systems from concept to completion utilizing engineering documents
