Perform electrical system modifications on military aircraft, trained to work with minimal supervision, and participate in test or project events. The ideal person would have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and integrity.
Requirements
- Perform on-aircraft modifications, Time-Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO), component and harness installation/removal, operational checkouts, and prototype and trial vehicle installations (TVI)
- Follow engineering guidance, technical orders, and drawings
- Perform moderately complex assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, test equipment, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment (OJT)
- Train and assist other technicians on techniques and procedures (OJT)
- Modify aircraft and equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as per predetermined processes (OJT)
