Airframe and Powerplant Specialist (Contingent)

Execute maintenance on military aircraft, travel to various locations, and train on electrical wire harnesses and other maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred
• Current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required
• 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required
• Broad working knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance and inspection requirements
• Knowledgeable in documenting maintenance actions in USAF, USN, and US Army aircraft records
• Familiar with the installation of aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc.
• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
