Principal Cybersecurity Engineer job description. Develops System Security Management Plans, Program Protection Plans, and other system security engineering-related documents. Supports system and application Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) effort. Recommends policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• CISSP Certification required
• 15+ years of general work experience
• 10+ years of experience in a DOD setting
• Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience
• Vulnerability Management, Tenable Nessus (ACAS-DoD version of Nessus) experience
• STIGs experience
• Experience with Cross Domain Solutions and USAF CDS-E
• Cloud Service Models experience
• Supply Chain Security experience
• NIAP experience
• DoD Policies for Procedures for Cybersecurity experience
• Network Security experience
• Endpoint experience
• DoD Impact Levels experience
• NSA Type 1 encryption experience
• Working with a CSSP - 16th AF experience
