Maintenance Mechanic 1 - 2nd shift

Join our team as a 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic 1 at KIK Consumer Products, a leading manufacturer of consumer products. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, you'll be a key contributor to the success of our plant.

Requirements

• Sets up production equipment to run scheduled production
• Discusses difficulties in operating equipment with machine operators to isolate problems, and then troubleshoots machine to determine cause and repairs required.
• Performs necessary repairs on equipment to keep it in top running order.
• Must be able to perform major mechanical overhauls of some packaging equipment
• Must be able to troubleshoot electrical and motor problems.
• Carries out required preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Assists in determining required design modifications and makes approved modifications to equipment.
• Performs tasks in accordance with approved procedures and following all safety procedures and gmp's.
• Provides coverage for mechanics on other shifts, as needed.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team setting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
