Job Description
This Civil Designer position involves designing, developing, and constructing projects throughout a real estate portfolio. Responsibilities include detailed design work, on-site investigations, reviewing city inspections, and ensuring technical specifications and safety compliance. The role requires collaboration with clients and subcontractors, as well as project management responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Design, or Civil Drafting (or equivalent experience can be considered)
- 2-3 years of experience as a Civil Designer
- Proficiency in Auto CAD Civil 3-D software and CAD standards
- Knowledge of software programs including Auto CAD Civil 3-D, GIS, and Adobe Acrobat
- Good Communication skills (written and verbal)
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Cooperative skills
- Effective communication
- Strong organizational skills
- Work under tight deadlines
- Licensed Texas driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Apprentice Drafter Certification (Preferred)
