Job Description
Killam Ranch Properties is seeking an experienced Ranch Hand to care for livestock and perform daily grounds maintenance. Candidates should be knowledgeable about cattle and deer care and driving tractors. Responsibilities include checking cattle, assisting with medical care, fence repair, and machine maintenance.
Requirements
- Riding pastures for sick or injured animals
- Assisting with animal doctoring and equipment repair
- Fence repair and shredding
- Tree trimming and general grounds maintenance
- Operating large equipment, including tractors
- Knowledge of cattle and horse care
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work weekends
- Must be self-motivated, responsible and proactive
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
