Job Description
Our client, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a Senior Commercial Casualty Production Underwriter to underwrite and price new and renewal Commercial Casualty business within the Excess & Surplus (E&S) market. This role is fully remote and requires strong analytical and communication skills.
Requirements
- Assess individual risk acceptability, pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions for complex surplus lines commercial property and casualty policies.
- Develop, analyze, and evaluate information to identify exposures and make well-informed underwriting decisions.
- Visit producers / wholesale brokers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with producers, assisting in client retention and achieving mutual business growth.
- Achieve established production and loss ratio targets for the assigned regional territory.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and competitive landscape to drive new business opportunities.
