Job Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs clinical nursing procedures and functions within the Arizona (AZ) CNA Scope of Practice, supporting the plan of care for each patient and improving patient safety and experience. Responsibilities include attending to daily living and safety needs, assisting RN personnel, and collaborating with other departments.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or greater, if CNA
- Must be 18 years of age or greater, if LNA
- High school diploma or equivalent, if providing POC Testing
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant, OR successful completion of a Nursing Assistant certification program
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, if CNA
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
