Job Description
Medical Assistant (MA) responsible for patient care under the direct supervision of a Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner. Maintains all applicable KHI Policies and Procedures. Cross trains in data entry, balancing of accounts, charges fees and collect payments due.
Requirements
- High School diploma or Equivalent
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Certification/Licensure: Medical Assistant Certification (e.g. CCMA, RMA, AAMA)
- 1-2 years experience as a medical assistant in a clinical outpatient setting
