Requirements
- Mechanical Engineer working in consultancy, industry or at a start-up within the medical device sector
- Methodical and systematic thinker with a passion for understanding how products work and understanding the needs of the user
- Team player who thrives on collaborating with others across different skillsets including software, electronics and design
- Experience in design of electromechanical systems, data acquisition, processing and analysis
- Experience in design from concept through to manufacture of mechanical systems and products
- Experience in risk management process to ISO14971 and use of FMEA and Fault Tree
- Understanding of and demonstrable experience of working within multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent presentation skills including written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent client relationship management (ideally consultancy experience)
- Experience in leading projects, taking responsibility for delivery quality outputs on time and on budget
