Job Description
The Permanent Substitute role will substitute for KIPP Colorado teachers in their region in the case of teacher absences. Responsibilities include managing the learning and culture of the classroom, providing coverage at lunch duty, hall duty, or arrival and dismissal, and supporting the school with various tasks. A full understanding of KIPP and commitment to an exceptional student experience are required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (required) OR High School Diploma and 1 Year Substitute Authorization.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience (highly preferred but not required)
- Commitment to and experience with youth of various cultural and economic backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills, written and oral communication skills, and problem-solving skills
