2026-27 Middle School Science Teacher

KIPP Nashville Public Schools seeks a Middle School Science Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Tennessee teaching license, a conferred Bachelor’s degree, and a passion for data-driven instruction. The teacher will be responsible for curriculum development and instruction, as well as creating a positive and calm learning environment. They will also work collaboratively with the school team and participate in professional development opportunities. The salary range is $56,171-$92,970, with a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, supplemental insurance, and life insurance policy options.

Requirements

• Valid Tennessee teaching license
• Conferred Bachelor’s degree
• Pass Criminal Background Check
• Commitment to working with students from educationally under-resourced communities
• Experience and demonstrated success teaching students from educationally under-resourced communities
• At least two years of teaching experience
• Passionate about data-driven instruction
