Job Description
KIPP Kansas City Public Schools seeks a High School History Teacher for the upcoming school year. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional instruction and assess student growth, while maintaining a commitment to educational equity and building relationships with students and families.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or college
- Active Missouri Teaching license with required certification for subject and level assigned
- 1 year of experience in elementary school teaching in urban communities (strongly preferred)
- Relentless focus on results and commitment to teamwork
- Deep commitment to educational equity and underserved communities
- Demonstrated knowledge of core subject area assigned
- Satisfactory outcome of a background check
