Join our Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) team as a Behavioral Health Technician for our Adult Inpatient Unit (AIU). As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our adult clients while supporting their treatment objectives. Requirements
- Monitor client behaviors and activities to ensure their safety within the AIU
- Implement treatment plans under the guidance of the treatment team
- Accurately document client interactions and observations using electronic and paper charting systems
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to provide comprehensive care to clients
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary
- Facilitate group activities and therapeutic sessions to promote recovery
- Communicate effectively with external stakeholders to coordinate client care
- Support clients in developing coping skills and self-management techniques
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning discussions
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures at all times
