Job Description
Kitsap Mental Health Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Access Intake Clinician to join our Access Team. In this role, you will conduct mental health screenings, assessments, and treatment recommendations for adults and children, collaborating closely with their families or guardians.
Requirements
- Triage individual service requests
- Perform clinical interviews and intake assessments
- Complete required intake documentation and supplemental assessments
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of KMHS services and community resources
- Facilitate transitions for clients by collaborating with KMHS departments and community partners
- Conduct outreach assessments as needed and travel to satellite locations
- Provide efficient, evidence-based clinical services, documenting accurately in the electronic health record
- Actively participate in Access Team activities, fostering positive relationships with all agency departments
- Pursue professional growth by seeking learning opportunities and integrating new skills into daily work
