Job Description
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities for the metals service center, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production equipment, material-handling systems, and facility infrastructure.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, technical or trade school preferred
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Analytical skills to troubleshoot problems and optimize processes
- Technical proficiency in machinery and facility systems
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and vendor negotiation skills
- Experience in metals service centers or manufacturing preferred
