Our client is seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join the team. The role will be responsible for creating compelling short and long form content using a vast repository of raw footage. The role may also include travel to Australia for team events.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a similar industry or with experience in creating advertising and educational content.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Video Editor and experience in making videos for Social platforms.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and strong knowledge of editing techniques and industry-standard practices.
- A portfolio demonstrating a range of high-quality video editing projects, showcasing creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively convey messages through visual storytelling.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements for advertising purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand and interpret client briefs effectively.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A keen eye for aesthetics, composition, and the ability to enhance video content through editing.
- Understanding of audio editing, including sound mixing, music selection, and voice-over integration.
- Creative mindset, constantly seeking innovative approaches to video editing to maintain engagement and appeal.
- A team player attitude, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the creative, marketing, and education teams.
