Job Description
NerdWallet is seeking a driven Accounting Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will have an active role in the company's revenue accounting functions, which include reconciling revenue data, analyzing revenue trends, and performing month-end close activities.
Requirements
- Collect and track customer reporting of revenue transactions
- Reconcile customer reporting against internal data
- Prepare revenue journal entries for your assigned business verticals
- Prepare revenue pacing models used by Accounting, FP&A, and Business Development teams
- Collaborate closely with Business Development to identify new partners, review pricing changes, and analyze monthly fluctuations
- Assist in the automation of revenue accounting processes
- Work closely with external auditors during audit by preparing requested information and addressing auditor inquiries
- Have an eye toward process improvement as we strive to improve efficiency at all levels
- Pick up projects and ad-hoc tasks as they arise
