The virtual staff Accountant reports to the Accounting Supervisor and performs bookkeeping maintenance and controls of the General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization.

Requirements

• Assist the senior accountant with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting Department
• Perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions
• Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue and receivable
• Review expense coding to ensure grant compliance
• Review and process credit card expense reports and receipts
• Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports
