Job Description

A CNC Swiss Machining Programmer is responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for complex Swiss machined parts in metals and plastics.
Requirements
- Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC Swiss programs (9–12 axis machinery)
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements to create accurate toolpaths
- Select and design cutting tools, collets, grippers, and inspection fixtures
- Collaborate with machinists and setup teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Support high-volume and lights-out machining with effective tool life and coolant management
- Write inspection plans, setup sheets, and work instructions
- Troubleshoot and improve machining processes
- Lead and mentor team members on advanced machining techniques
