Job Description
We are seeking a Legal Assistant to support the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia in Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and job stability and security.
Requirements
- Support Assistant United States Attorneys with day-to-day civil litigation and legal administrative work
- Manage incoming and outgoing discovery materials
- Review and organize case documents
- Use Automated Litigation Support (ALS) tools
- Prepare legal documents
- Communicate with agency partners and stakeholders
- Produce litigation support materials
- Assist with trial prep
- Maintain accurate case records
- Track filing dates and hearings
- Maintain attorney calendars
- Arrange travel and prepare travel documentation
- Review invoices and support budget tracking
