As of 01.08.2025, we are looking for dual students in business informatics in software development. The candidate selection for the 2025 cohort starts in November 2024.
Your tasks
- Handling modern hardware, software, and operating systems, including in the cloud
- Developing adaptations for our industry solutions based on the latest Microsoft technologies with current programming languages
- Programming and maintaining software solutions based on customer requests and advising users on questions around the use of the software
- Developing customer solutions with users
- Explaining our software to customers
Studies and training
Within a 3-year study at the Dual University of Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel, as well as the exciting in-house training at our company in the areas of:
- Software and application development, as well as conception
- Project planning and project control
- Consulting and user support
You will learn everything about the occupational profile of a business informatics expert. The dual concept is characterized by alternating theory and practice phases. In addition to your Bachelor of Science degree, you have the opportunity to integrate a vocational training as a specialist in application development into your studies, so that you have two degrees in your pocket after three years.
Your profile
- Interest in IT and economic topics, ideally with initial IT and programming knowledge
- A good to very good high school diploma or vocational qualification with good grades in mathematics, German, and computer science (if offered as a school subject)
- Good general knowledge
- Very good English skills
- Enjoy team spirit and pleasure in independent work
- Good communicative skills, interest, and pleasure in dealing with customers
- High willingness to learn and take on responsibilities
- Ability to present complex connections clearly
- Pleasure in analyzing and creating concepts
- Flexibility and endurance, reliability, and self-initiative
