The Claude AI & Automation Specialist is a lead-level individual contributor responsible for driving the adoption, implementation, and deep working knowledge of Claude across every function within Koin’s multi-brand e-commerce business. This role focuses on process automation and workflow building, as well as upskilling the wider team in AI usage. The successful candidate will maintain deep expertise across all Claude surfaces, apply the right tool to the right problem, and be comfortable working with agents, sub-agents, and orchestration patterns.
Requirements
- Design, build, and maintain Claude-powered automations
- Develop multi-step workflows that integrate Claude with existing business systems and tools
- Design and implement agent-based architectures
- Build and maintain reusable prompt templates
- Evaluate and implement automation platforms
- Document all automations with clear logic and maintenance requirements
- Monitor automation performance and iterate based on output quality and reliability
- Identify and prioritise manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes across all departments for automation
- Design and deliver structured training programmes to upskill team members
- Create formal training materials
- Provide one-to-one coaching and ad-hoc support
- Build self-serve templates, tools, and resources
- Track and report on team adoption metrics and AI literacy
- Stay current on Claude product updates and communicate relevant changes to the team
- Develop and refine prompting strategies
- Establish best practices and style guides for prompt engineering
- Build and maintain a library of tested prompts
- Evaluate output quality across different Claude models and surfaces
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with prompt performance
- Contribute to the development of the business’s AI adoption roadmap and strategic priorities
- Research and evaluate new AI tools and capabilities
- Identify opportunities where AI can create competitive advantage
- Benchmark Koin’s AI maturity against industry best practice
- Provide input on build-vs-buy decisions for AI-powered tooling
- Work with marketing, operations, finance, customer service, and e-commerce teams
- Act as the central point of contact for AI-related questions, requests, and project scoping
- Partner with the Systems & Data team
- Communicate progress, impact, and learnings through regular reporting to leadership
