Job description
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in evolving and scaling our Databricks-based data platform while enabling adoption across multiple domain teams. This role combines hands-on engineering, platform architecture, and close collaboration with spoke teams to ensure the platform remains scalable, reusable, and easy to adopt.
You will work closely with data engineering and cross-functional teams to strengthen platform capabilities, improve developer experience, and build reusable standards that support long-term growth of our data ecosystem. Key responsibilities include platform adoption and spoke team enablement, data ingestion framework enhancement and scale, data product framework enhancement and standardisation, and Unity Catalog governance and access control.
We are looking for a proactive, tech-savvy individual with a passion for building their career in IT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Apache Spark, Databricks, and AWS services, with experience working in agile/scrum delivery teams and a proven track record of building reusable frameworks.
