Job Description
Kommissary is a social enterprise on a mission to spread joy through food, producing and delivering meals to diverse demographics in New York City. They are seeking a Warehouse/Receiving Specialist to work efficiently in both fulfillment centers. The role involves verifying deliveries, picking and packing items, and maintaining warehouse organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and detail-oriented individual.
Requirements
- Able to read alpha and numeric codes from pick sheets and slots.
- Able to consistently meet minimum production standards.
- Able to operate electronic pallet jacks to stack cases on pallets and shrink wrap completed order.
- Able to select orders accurately and quickly.
- Able to work overtime when necessary.
- High school or equivalent.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Can lift up to 50 pounds and be able to stand/walk for long periods.
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
