Incident Response Engineer, Security Team

Incident Response Engineer for Kong Inc., responsible for creating a collaborative environment between security and business/engineering teams, detecting and responding to security incidents, and maintaining the company's security and compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in crisis management and incident response
• Expertise in building and operating security information/event management systems (SIEM), centralized logging, and enrichment solutions
• Practical experience working with cloud technologies and building and deploying solutions using Terraform
• Competency in Linux, Windows, and scripting languages (Python or JavaScript)
• Ability to automate workflows and processes
• Strong passion for Cyber Security and stakeholder management
• Collaborative environment and ability to work with cross-functional teams
