Lead Custodian

We are seeking a Lead Custodian to support Kadiak and our government customer in Butte, MT. The Lead Custodian will supervise, coordinate, and assign tasks to custodial staff, and oversee routine cleaning and specialized cleaning projects.

Requirements

• Supervise, coordinate, and assign tasks to custodial staff
• Provide guidance and training to team members
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members
• Clean routine areas such as offices, restrooms, common areas, and exterior grounds
• Maintain cleaning supplies/equipment
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Develop cleaning schedules and procedures
• Inventory management
• Order and maintain cleaning supplies/equipment
• Act as point of contact between staff and management
• Liaise between custodial staff and other departments
• Ensure adherence to federal facility cleaning protocols and regulations
• Handle complex cleaning tasks
• Assist with setup/cleanup for special events
• Lead team in cleaning load balance for compliant results
