Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the development of a customer-facing, SaaS-scale geospatial and 3D platform from the ground up. This role is focused on designing and building highly interactive geospatial applications that integrate aerial imagery, vector data, property information, and 2D/3D visualizations—at scale and for a broad customer base.

Requirements

• Development of highly interactive web applications integrating imagery, vector geometry, 3D models, and property data.
• Build frontend systems that deliver fast, smooth, and reliable rendering across browsers, with a path toward mobile support.
• Build backend services and APIs that support geospatial content delivery, tiling, metadata, and customer-facing workflows.
• Ensure performance optimization across rendering pipelines, data access, and client-server interactions.
• Professional software engineering experience, with significant time in SaaS, product-focused development.
• Strong expertise in full-stack web development, with deep experience building complex, customer-facing applications.
• Advanced experience with React and modern web application architecture.
• Proven experience integrating geospatial and imagery-based content into web applications.
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Imagery tile servers and map tiling concepts, Mapbox, MapLibre, or similar geospatial presentation layers, Vector geometry rendering on maps, 3D rendering in the browser (e.g., WebGL, Three.js, CesiumJS, or similar),
• Strong understanding of performance optimization for visualization-heavy applications.
• Experience designing and consuming scalable APIs that support geospatial content and interactive clients.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale customer-facing platforms, not just internal or back-office systems.
